Roenick & HarperCollins Canada Reveal Cover for JR's First Book

This morning, Jeremy Roenick revealed (via his twitter account) the Canadian cover art for his first book, titled J.R.: The Fast, Crazy Life of Hockey's Loudest, Most Colourful Personality. From HarperCollins Publishers:

Whether he was potting a shot top shelf or crushing an opponent into the boards, Jeremy Roenick, or J.R., as he is widely known, was never shy about the way he played hockey. Roenick played for twenty years with five NHL teams. As much as he mixed it up in front of the net, he often found himself in the middle of controversy off the ice as well, and more than ever now as a hockey broadcaster and media personality, Roenick lights up call-in show phone lines with his rare mix of raw wit and cutting commentary.

In J.R., Roenick reveals all, from his youth hockey days commuting across the continent, to his time with the Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers and his other teams, to skating with the American team in international competition. From his famous media battle with Patrick Roy, his entreaty to fans to “kiss my ass,” his accusation that USA Hockey had “blackballed” him, and his claims of a bias against American players, to his thoughts on Wayne Gretzky and the Phoenix Coyotes, Roenick tells it as only he can.
