Press release via Pac-12 PR Staff:

Former Colorado Wide Receiver & Olympian to Contribute As Game and Studio Analyst for 2012 Season

Former CU Buffs wide receiver and punt returner Jeremy Bloom is the latest to join the Pac-12 Networks on-air roster as a football analyst, contributing to both in-studio and game broadcast coverage.

Bloom will make his broadcast booth debut with Pac-12 Networks at his alma mater, Colorado, on Sept. 8 when the Buffs face Sacramento State. Following that, he will be in-studio on football Saturdays on a rotating basis, contributing to pre, half and postgame shows. While only playing two seasons for the University of Colorado in 2002 and 2003, Bloom made quite an impact on the Buffs record books. In his debut season, he earned First-Team Freshman All-America honors by the FWAA and collegefootballnews.com and became the first rookie to return more than one punt for a touchdown in a single season. He finished his career with Colorado as one of the Buffs most prolific punt and kick returners and still ranks No. 1 in the CU record books with the most punt & kickoff return yards in a game (250, Oct. 3 vs. Baylor).

Well known for his accomplishments as a three-time World Champion and two-time Olympian in freestyle moguls skiing, Bloom was also  a fifth-round pick of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles.

Following his athletic career, Bloom co-founded the internet company Integrate.com which was named ‘Best New Company’ at the 2011 American Business Awards and earned him a place on Forbes Magazine’s 30 under 30 list of influential people in technology that same year. He also founded the Wish of a Lifetime charity, a 501© non-profit that grants lifelong wishes to seniors. Bloom has also been a figure in the sports broadcasting world prior to Pac-12 Networks, serving as a college football analyst for ESPN, FOX Sports, and NBC Sports/Versus and contributing to NBC’s coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London and the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
