Via Press Release:

NEW YORK, NY, August 23, 2012 – Dial Global (NASDAQ: DIAL) and NBC Sports Radio today announced that Rodney Harrison, the three-time All-Pro and two-time Super Bowl champion, will host a two-hour weekend NFL talk show for NBC Sports Radio. Safety Blitz with Rodney Harrison will debut on the weekend of September 8th, 2012.

In addition to his weekend show, Harrison will be featured during the week with live guest appearances on other NBC Sports Radio talk shows.

Harrison is an analyst for NBC Sports’ Emmy-nominated NFL studio show Football Night in America and has drawn significant critical acclaim for his blunt, hard-hitting style. Harrison began his tenure with NBC Sports as guest studio analyst for the network’s Super Bowl XLIII coverage after retiring from professional football. He won two Super Bowls during his eight-year run with the New England Patriots, which followed nine seasons with the San Diego Chargers. During his 15-year pro career, Harrison made three Pro Bowl appearances, and is the only player in NFL history with at least 30 career sacks and 30 career interceptions.

Harrison says, “I am very excited to add radio to my broadcasting platforms. Safety Blitz will be consistent with my approach on Football Night in America--hard hitting with content that the listener will find entertaining and informative. Our goal is to provide the audience with as much insight as possible all of which will be packed into a fast moving two hour weekend show.”

Chris Corcoran, Executive Vice President, General Manager adds, “We are thrilled to be able to announce that Rodney will be joining NBC Sports Radio. Rodney’s arrow continues to climb in the media space and we see a very bright future for him in radio”

Rob Simmelkjaer, Senior Vice President, NBC Sports Ventures and International said, “With the launch of NBC Sports Radio just 12 days away, we are thrilled to add Rodney Harrison to our growing list of talented sports radio personalities. We anticipate Rodney’s transition to radio to be as seamless as his transition was from the football field to television, where he went from being one of the fiercest competitors in the game to one of the most respected voices in the space. He is the latest in what we expect to be many NBC Sports television personalities who will join our radio team.”
