Brandon Tierney & Ray Lucas Win New York Emmy Awards

We at Maxx Sports & Entertainment are extremely happy and excited to congratulate clients Brandon Tierney & Ray Lucas on winning their respective awards at the 54th annual New York Emmy Awards, which took place at the Marriott Marquis’ Broadway Ballroom Sunday, April 3, 2011.

Brandon Tierney won the Sportcast Award as a part of SNY's Sportsnite: LeBron James coverage.

Ray Lucas won the Sports Analyst Award.

Ray, who won the award after leaving SNY to battle his pain-killer addiction, posted this entry on his Facebook after he received the emotional news:

"Just found out that I WON THE EMMY for Best Sports Analyst in NY. WOW it is such a blessing to now have a clear head be pain killer free & have my physical issues healing so I can truly enjoy this amazing honor. My life is going in the right direction. Talking about sucking some snot, what an overwhelming experience."
