ESPN Radio Adds Four Shows Featuring MAXX Clients to its 2016 Winter Weekend Lineup

ESPN Radio has added four new shows to its 2016 winter weekend lineup that feature a mix of perspectives from different voices. Rothenberg & Medcalf (Saturdays, 5 – 8 p.m. ET); Robin & Reese (Saturdays, 11 p.m. – 1 a.m.); Clinton Yates, Mina Kimes & Domonique Foxworth (Sundays, 9 a.m. – Noon); and Jordan Rodgers & Jason Fitz (10 p.m. – Midnight) are each making their debuts through the winter schedule.

I’m confident that our fans will be consistently informed , entertained and left with a host of memorable moments, which is our mission 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

Rothenberg & Medcalf is hosted by ESPN New York 98.7FM’s Dave Rothenberg and ESPN.com college basketball writer Myron Medcalf and discusses the latest headlines in sports. Rothenberg can be heard on 98.7 FM ESPN New York, and is the host of Fantasy Focus on the national network. Medcalf joined ESPN in 2011 after covering college basketball for the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Robin & Reese, which will debut Saturday, Jan. 7, will feature the humor of hosts Robin Lundberg and Reese Waters as they review the sports landscape while injecting pop culture and wit into the show. Lundberg currently hosts the weekday morning program, First and Last with Lundberg & Golic Jr. alongside Mike Golic Jr. A professional comedian, Waters contributes his talents as a SportsCenter correspondent, charged with providing the humorous side of sports-related stories across all ESPN platforms.

Clinton Yates, Mina Kimes & Domonique Foxworthwill showcase The Undefeated writers Yates and Foxworth alongside ESPN The Magazine’s Kimes as the three dissect the top stories in sports and topical societal issues. The show will premiere Sunday, Jan. 8. Yates covered local news, sports, politics, pop culture and anything he could get his hands on or head wrapped around at The Washington Post. Foxworth, a former NFL cornerback, brings his executive expertise to the show, having served as the president of the NFL Players’ Association. Kimes is a senior writer for ESPN The Magazine and currently co-hosts Fantasy Focus on ESPN Radio.

Additional programming will continue to roll out through January and February. McNabb & Custer — which debuted in the fall and is hosted by former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb and Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Brian Custer — will continue in the winter, moving from its current timeslot to Noon, beginning Sunday, Feb. 12.
