Ronde Barber's Feat Has Hall of Fame Calling

In this video from FoxSports.com, Jay Glazer hosts Bucs cornerback Ronde Barber in his “After Party” feature to talk about the historic milestone he reached during the Bucs improbable shutout at San Francisco.

The Hall Calls

In other news, Ronde's feat had the Pro Football Hall of Fame calling to ask for the jersey and gloves that he was wearing when he recorded the historic interception.

With his 40th interception, Barber became the first player in NFL history to have 40 or more interceptions and 25 or more sacks in his career. He has 26 career sacks.

"It's phenomenal," Bucs coach Raheem Morris said. "It's a feat we're very proud of and I'm sure he will be as well. Hopefully, they ask for him sooner or later.

They, meaning the Hall of Fame.

"You guys know how I feel about Ronde. That's 'Dey-Dey.' I'm very pleased with what he's able to do, how he's able to play. It's amazing, because he practices every single day and goes out there and does everything that's required and everything above and beyond at (35 years old), older than his head coach. It's phenomenal to watch. I can't even get out of bed this morning, my knees hurt so bad from standing up in San Francisco."
