Milford athlete competes on TBS's 'Go Big Show'
Milford All-American athlete Callie Bundy will be competing for the chance to win $100,000 on TBS's "Go Big Show."
Bundy, who played NCAA Division 1 Softball at Quinnipiac University, will be showing off her football trick throws on the new game show, which premiered last month.
The "Go Big Show" flips the traditional format of most talent show programs by opting for large-scale talents such as monster truck driving and rattlesnake wrestling. The show, hosted by stand-up comedian Bert Kreischer, features an eclectic array of special guest judges including Snoop Dogg, Rosario Dawson and former WWE star Cody Rhodes.
Bundy has been a competitor in the National Physique Competition, and has earned professional status as an International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness bikini competitor.
The athlete and model has garnered attention on social media for her trick shots with a football, including throwing a football into a basketball net from across the court. Her talents were even on display with a spot on the "NBA on TBT" with Shaquille O'Neal.
The game show competitor is the first ambassador for the "Gronk Fitness" brand, a line of fitness and conditioning equipment established by Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Bundy is also launching her own training app, simply called "Callie Bundy." The app, which is awaiting launch, will feature at-home workout programs, nutrition tips and the ability to message Bundy about fitness questions and tips.
Bundy will appear on the the series' fourth episode. The episode premieres on Feb. 11 at 9 p.m. EST.
