iFit Connected Fitness Launches “Train With a Pro” Series with NFL Star Tiki Barber
iFit, the leading interactive, connected fitness technology, has launched its “Train With a Pro” series, bringing world-class athletes into the homes of iFit members. Tiki Barber, former New York Giants running back, kicks off the series in his six-part program, available on all iFit-enabled treadmills and ellipticals, such as NordicTrack and ProForm. The series is shot largely in part on a football field, transporting iFit members into a virtual world of authentic NFL conditioning.
Barber spent the entirety of his 10-season career playing for the Giants, making him a widely recognized and beloved athlete. Since retiring, he has become a national media presence, most notably as co-host of CBS Sports Radio’s national afternoon program, “TIKI & TIERNEY.” In his “Train With a Pro” series, Barber shares his decades of professional knowledge and experience with iFit members through memorable anecdotes, his favorite exercises for strength and speed, and an inside look into how a professional football player trains.

The workouts in the Tiki Barber’s iFit series combine endurance and cardio training on the treadmill or elliptical, with off-equipment bodyweight exercises to target strength and stability. For those using iFit-enabled equipment, iFit provides a realistic virtual experience as iFit automatically adjusts speed, incline and decline for treadmills and resistance, incline and decline for ellipticals. For example, as members participate in the progression run, they’ll feel their treadmill’s speed gradually increase, or their elliptical’s resistance increase, throughout the workout to match Barber’s output.
The iFit Tiki Barber “Train With a Pro” series contains six workouts, each ranging from 15 to 30 minutes, and is ideal for all fitness levels.
